With the arrival of Baby White Moss (due in July) we have been obsessing about nursery ideas and having a lot of fun trying different styles out to see which will best suit our little girl when she arrives.
We have a lot of gorgeous neutral pieces for a nursery, all handmade from natural materials, but we were keen to blend our style with the fun, vibrant style of Live Loud Girl to explore different ways to style our products combining colour, DIY and everyday items from Ikea, showing how versatile our products can be when combined with any style or palette.
We discussed the idea of a boho style nursery with Linda (Founder and Creative mind behind Live Loud Girl) and she started with selecting a few of her favourite pieces from our collection, as well as some personal items she discovered in our home, for example some cute and colourful animal masks I picked up whilst living in Panama and the mudcloth fabric we bought back from our recent sourcing trip in Africa.
Her first selections were our adorable Little Poppet rattan baby crib, partnered with our rattan Love Chair, as a perfect statement pieces to complement a Boho look and feel.
Linda was keen to show some DIY hacks and arrived with a bottle of mint green spray paint to customise our La Flore rattan mirror and the Ikea wall brackets for our shelving. She also chose to customise our white AINA curtains by dip dying the bottom in an earthy terracotta colour.
For the final touches Linda selected some other products to complete the look by adding some cute bedding with a beautiful soft blush blanket from Kate & Kate a little White Neon Heart from By Something Els and her old time favourite grid wallpaper
Another favourite of hers is the eye mirror that she hung together with the spray painted mirror and tribal masks on the wall over the changing table. A beautifully made piece of furniture by DertigZes.
Finally Linda styled the selves with her favourite shelfie stars like Pinch toys cars, the Mikanu Pear, Lucky Boy Sunday Doll by Marmarland and Sol by Arlo for Kids.
What bought everything together is the gorgeous Lamia Beni Ourain rug by Maison Saadah. Rugs make a room welcoming and finish a room making it feel more cosy and welcoming, even in warm countries like Dubai they are a must.
Whether you prefer a more neutral boho style or you are a prefer a pop of bright colours this room has something for everyone.
Thank you Live Loud team for styling this nursery for us!
